Causeway Bay Events - March 2027
March is Hong Kong's "Art March" and the single best month of the year to be in Causeway Bay. The weather turns milder and more humid (roughly 18–23°C) and the city's cultural calendar peaks: the Hong Kong Flower Show fills Victoria Park, Art Basel takes over the Wan Chai convention centre one MTR stop away, and the Arts Festival is still running.
This is also the month to book ahead — hotel rooms and restaurant tables are at their most expensive during Art Basel week, and the Flower Show draws huge local crowds at weekends. Two confirmed concert nights at Kai Tak round out the month.
🌸 Hong Kong Flower Show at Victoria Park
Hong Kong Flower Show 2027
📅 Friday, March 12 – Sunday, March 21, 2027 — daily 09:00–21:00
Causeway Bay's signature event. The show returns to Victoria Park with the China Rose as its theme flower and the theme "Blossoming Through Time", marking the 30th anniversary of the HKSAR's establishment. Expect vast floral installations, landscape gardens and nightly lighting across ten days. The point is simply that it turns the district's biggest park into a temporary garden — go on a weekday morning to have room to photograph it.
📍 Location: Victoria Park, Causeway Bay
🎟️ Tickets: HK$14 adult, HK$7 concession (weekday concessions); buy at the gate
🏷️ Categories: Festival, Flowers, Family, Photography

Art Basel Hong Kong 2027
📅 Thursday, March 25 – Saturday, March 27, 2027
Asia's flagship contemporary art fair returns to the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre in Wan Chai — one MTR stop or a short ride from Causeway Bay. A ticketed event, but worth it if you want to see the international gallery circuit without travelling. Keep an eye on the fair's own site for the visitor hours and ticket tiers.
📍 Location: Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, Wan Chai
🎟️ Tickets: Ticketed

🎤 Live Music & Concerts
BTS World Tour 'ARIRANG' in Hong Kong
📅 Thursday, March 4 · Saturday, March 6 · Sunday, March 7, 2027
Three nights at Kai Tak Stadium — by far the biggest live music booking of the 2027 Causeway Bay calendar. Kai Tak is a short ride across the harbour, and the three-date run is a strong reason to time a trip to March. Tickets will be scarce.
📍 Location: Kai Tak Sports Park Stadium
🎟️ Tickets: Ticketed — book through Live Nation HK

🎉 Holidays & Seasonal
Easter long weekend
📅 Friday, March 26 – Monday, March 29, 2027 — public holidays
Easter falls the same week as Art Basel, which makes the last weekend of March the busiest and most expensive of the month for travel and dining. If you want a quiet Causeway Bay afternoon, the flower show is finished by the 21st, so the park returns to normal just before the holiday crowds arrive.
📍 Location: Hong Kong-wide
💵 Price: Free (holidays)

🧭 Practical Notes
Flower Show timing and tickets
Tickets are bought at the gate (HK$14 adult / HK$7 concession). Weekday mornings, right after the 09:00 opening, are by far the most comfortable; weekends and evenings are much busier. Tin Hau station (Exit A) is the closest MTR exit to Victoria Park.
Art Basel week
Book hotels and restaurants well ahead for the Art Basel dates (25–27 March) and the Easter weekend that follows. HKCEC is reached from Causeway Bay via Wan Chai; allow extra time in the evenings.
Kai Tak concert nights
For BTS on 4, 6 and 7 March, take the Tuen Ma Line to Kai Tak station and follow the crowd; the stadium's own guidance on gates and last-train times is worth reading before you go.
Weather
March is warm and increasingly humid, with occasional mist and drizzle. A light layer for evenings plus an umbrella covers most days.
